Inclusive Pregnancy, Birth and Postnatal support for all parents and families

Hi, I’m Anna! (they/them) ♥

I was deeply inspired to pursue training as a doula after my own experience of having a wonderful and supportive doula during the birth of my child. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of emotional and physical support during such a significant life event.

I am particularly passionate about providing dedicated support and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ families and parents, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and respected. I have personally navigated the birthing space as a queer person, and know that it can be overwhelming (but doesn’t have to be!)

I am a huge lover of science (I have a degree in Astrophysics 🌙) and so I love reading about the latest research and evidence on pregnancy, birth and post-partum. It’s amazing to see how science is now confirming practices and traditions that we have used for thousands of years!

Being neurodivergent, I know that pregnancy and birth can be challenging for some. I use this understanding to support those who may feel stressed and nervous before, during and after the experience.

I am constantly working to ensure that I am actively anti-racist and increasing my knowledge, so that I can support people of all backgrounds and faiths.

In my spare time, I am an avid player of computer games and board games. I also love cooking, (attempting) to grow fruits and vegetables in my garden, and attempting far too much DIY.
